Catalpa Landscapes was founded in 2021, but my journey started much earlier, back in 2015. I began as an apprentice on a private estate, where I learned everything from plant care to machinery maintenance. Wanting to grow, I earned my Level 3 Extended Diploma in Horticulture and Landscaping by 2018.

Between 2017 and 2020, I worked alongside a local landscaper, gaining valuable experience in decking, fencing, paving, planting plans, and client communication. After that, I took a role as Deputy Head Gardener for a large company, where I earned additional qualifications like my chainsaw license and digger tickets.

Though the experience was invaluable, I wanted more independence and respect as a worker. So, in 2021, I took the leap and started Catalpa Landscapes. The early days were tough, learning to price jobs right and work smarter, but we’ve grown steadily into a trusted, full-service design and build landscaping company. Now, we’re proud to deliver high-quality projects and excellent customer care from the first consultation to the final touches.
